Understand and use it well. Post Covid, its instances have only increased, which may give the impression of a risk-mitigation tool. But that to me is more akin to deferred compensation. While it may end up being a formula in a structure, but I have seen it also being leveraged as a great incentive, motivation when it is win-win - the business continues to grow and the transition sets it fairly well.
